Gorgeous granny stripes!

I started my new project a week ago... and I'm officially a granny stripe addict!!!
I just luuurrvve them, they are so much fun! To coin a Lucy (Attic 24) phrase they make me all heart-skippy :) I am making a blanket for our bedroom and using alternate cream with a Cath Kidston style colour palette. I'm currently at row 21 using trusty Stylecraft special DK.
I thought you may want a little sneaky look so here is a little piccy that I took on my phone earlier:

Do you like it so far? I am really enjoying this blanket! I'm thinking of making a snood and handwarmers for myself for this Winter (or Summer if this horrid weather continues hehe!) in glorious granny stripes galore! I think you may just get the drift how much I love them ;)
See you all soon xxx

  8. I love the colours you have chosen and am a fan of adding cream to divide up (even if Lucy isn't keen on white/cream!) and "pop" the colours. Which Stylecraft colours have you used? Looks like Bluebell, Clematis, Lavender, Aster, Meadow Green, Cream and Claret or Lipstick? Bet I am miles out! How are you getting on now?
